A few weeks ago, someone from Long Island called us at The Montage Maven out of the blue about three weeks before his daughter Margaux’s Bat Mitzvah. They were having a hard time getting organized and almost weren’t going to go through with the Bat Mitzvah party! Our heart sank a little.
The family knew they wanted a video montage for their special day and saw our work online. They found and loved Jesse’s montage on our site. Now, usually we ask for a 6-8 window to turn around an amazing video montage for an event. But in this case, the pressure was on! Yet with a little luck and sweat, we found a way to get them an exceptional video montage in 2 1/2 weeks! Yes, we worked through lunch and other meals. The Long Island family requested a Hollywood themed video, so we searched long and hard for video clips of Matthew McConaughey and Taylor Swift. Even though we had such a short amount of time to pull together the video montage, we made sure to use original clips that had never been used before in our work. We also helped the family organize their photos and transport them over to us using a special program called Team Viewer. They let us know that they came to the right place when they sent over this email message:
They Said:
“The video is wonderful!! Really excellent. We are very happy with how it turned out. I knew you were the right person for this project.”
The feedback from this family was very sweet so appreciative! The Monday morning after Margaux’s Bat Mitzvah, another email was sent to us with these kind words:
“I just wanted to tell you how wonderful the montage was last night. It was shown in the Sumner M. Redstone Theater (voted Best Big Screen in N.Y.C. by the Village Voice) at the Museum of the Moving Image. It was amazing! The impact of watching it on the big screen in the 267 seat theater was spectacular. All of the comments after the montage were positive and many of the guests said that it was the best montage that they had ever seen. Thank you again for a wonderful job.”
Wow, we are so glad that we got to help this family with their last-minute video montage request and give them an amazing special memory!
